The Imagen Foundation has a mission that lines up with everything that has driven me to work as an actor.  Icebox is the film that’s best used and challenged my skills. To be nominated as a film and individually with my castmates Anthony Gonzalez and, Genesis Rodriguez, is a real honor.

I look forward to joining our production team and the rest of the nominees for a celebration of very important projects and great performances. Manuel is a character I hold very dear and close to my heart. Living in the shadows and facing uncertainty and fear, he still makes the tough decisions with the best of intentions.

Some films find a way to exist when they are most needed. I’m elated for our timely #iceboxthemovie #filmfestival premiere this September 9th at TIFF. Working on an important project like this, passionately written and directed by #DanielSawka, is the reason I became an actor. Such a talented #internationalcast and #filmcrew brought together by #GracieFilms and Carla Hool.

Heading back to Los Angels after quite an experience in Albuquerque. Playing Manuel was a welcomed challenge I will never forget. I love the feeling of wrapping up a project because as an actor you feel like you’ve done your job and can now let the post production process take over- and wait for the big day.

I take with me amazing memories of working with an incredible cast and crew I can call friends. Films like Icebox is why I became an actor.
