Charlie McDowell’s very special film “Windfall” is coming to Netflix as part of the streaming service’s 2022 film slate!

“A man breaks into a tech billionaire’s empty vacation home, but things go sideways when the arrogant mogul and his wife arrive for a last-minute getaway.”

This thriller is one of the pandemic projects I worked on and with talents like Jesse Plemons, Lily Collins, and Jason Segel, how can you not be excited?

I’m excited to share that our short film Bibi has been accepted to the 11th Annual @SeattleLatinoFilmFestival (one of the most respected Latino film festivals in the country supporting American LatinX Filmmakers & Ibero/Latin American films and the only Latino film festival in the Northwest region of the U.S.)!
AND THAT’S NOT ALL…”Bibi” has also been selected as the Opening Night short film kicking off the festival next Thursday, October 3rd. YAY! This is a tremendous honor! Icebox won Best Primetime Program – Specials, Movies & Limited Series. Anthony Gonzalez also won for Best Young Actor – Television! I was so honored to be a nominee for Best Supporting Actor. The night was filled with uplifting speeches, beautiful people of all backgrounds, and for us, an opportunity to reunite and speak about our important film. Our director Daniel Sawka gave a gracious speech that included this powerful quote: “What is happening at these facilities today
is a disgrace and something that needs to stop!”

Natasha Wimmer’s latest translation of the great Roberto Bolaño novel The Spirit of Science Fiction is masterful. What an honor to narrate part of a special piece of literary history that is a precursor to The Savage Detectives. It is set in my birthplace and during my first years of life. This is a special project that allowed me to work very closely with the written word of a master writer.

2 years ago Variety let us all know that #DanielSawka was teaming up with #GracieFilms to make the feature version of his incredible short film #Icebox. Along the way, I joined this important project and I couldn’t be more blessed to have worked with such incredible people on a film that I will be proud to share with my little one and all of you.
