Scene summary:
A father, not able to accept his gay son beats him and kicks him out.  The son goes on to become a gay lyricist/rapper and is haunted by the disapproval of his father.  In this flashback he remembers leaving his house as his father could only look away.  The son struggles as an adult to work out his own relationships while his father's image haunts him, even in his lyrics.
