On what should have
been a night like any other, the last thing Vasco Ruiz sees as he draws his
final breath is the ceiling of a dark, empty parking structure. A dishwasher at
the hotel, Vasco was a family man who did nothing to provoke the violent attack.
After the CSIs arrive, Catherine wonders what was used to kill him. "A blender?"
Brass quips. It looks like a robbery gone wrong, but the intensity of the
injuries says something else to Brass. Grissom finds Ruiz's car keys in the
garage, but as he checks it out, police cars at the scene race away to another
crime.
